Job Requirements

  • Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time
  • Ability to be mobile throughout facility to communicate with other departments
  • Ability to use a computer keyboard, computer monitor, and telephone for extended periods of time

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Proven experience as a receptionist, front office representative or similar role
  • Ability to multitask
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Customer service attitude
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office Suite)

Job Duties

  • Answer incoming calls and assist with customer inquiries
  • Deliver an excellent customer experience with every interaction
  • Day to day interaction with customers, sales and distributors providing requested information and support relative to price, availability, quotes, and lead times, in person and via email
  • Acquire thorough knowledge of product line and services
  • Resolve problems by clarifying issues
  • researching and exploring options
  • implementing solutions
  • escalating unsolved discrepancies
  • Invoicing
  • Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail
  • Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock
  • Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges)
  • Thorough knowledge of company policies and procedures
