Job Requirements
- Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to be mobile throughout facility to communicate with other departments
- Ability to use a computer keyboard, computer monitor, and telephone for extended periods of time
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Proven experience as a receptionist, front office representative or similar role
- Ability to multitask
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Customer service attitude
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office Suite)
Job Duties
- Answer incoming calls and assist with customer inquiries
- Deliver an excellent customer experience with every interaction
- Day to day interaction with customers, sales and distributors providing requested information and support relative to price, availability, quotes, and lead times, in person and via email
- Acquire thorough knowledge of product line and services
- Resolve problems by clarifying issues
- researching and exploring options
- implementing solutions
- escalating unsolved discrepancies
- Invoicing
- Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail
- Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock
- Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges)
- Thorough knowledge of company policies and procedures
