Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum one year office experience in a related environment
  • Proficient use of computer and other office equipment
  • Knowledge of commonly-used healthcare concepts and procedures
  • Excellent communication and multitasking skills
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday daytime hours

Job Duties

  • Perform standardized check-in and check-out procedures including registration activities
  • Schedule appointments and manage discharge activities
  • Collect co-pays and handle patient financial transactions
  • Work with insurance carriers to ensure complete and accurate information for reimbursement
  • Manage EPIC system inbox messages and process referrals
  • Handle phone calls and fax communications
  • Collaborate with team members to provide and maintain high quality patient care
