Job Duties
- greet all guests upon arrival
- assist guests with luggage to their rooms promptly during check-in and check-out
- hail taxicabs and answer guest inquiries
- assist guests by taking luggage to the curb for transportation
- sign for lost luggage from airlines and deliver to guest rooms
- provide general guest information when Concierge is not available
- support valet staff during busy periods and cover lunch breaks
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the bell closet and bell carts
- submit lost and found articles with proper reports
- assist guests into automobiles or taxicabs while keeping access areas clear
- function as valet parking attendant and doorperson as needed
- secure guests' luggage until departure
- direct guests to meeting rooms
- prevent unauthorized persons from entering
- notify guests by telephone of deliveries or visitor arrivals
- promote hotel functions and facilities
- inform guests of hotel amenities and emergency procedures while assisting to rooms
