Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior cleaning or custodial experience preferred
- Ability to work Monday through Friday evenings
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Good communication skills
- Ability to understand and follow instructions
- Physically able to perform job duties
- Ability to use two-way radio equipment
- Willingness to work independently
- Compliance with health and safety standards

- Prior office cleaning experience or similar environment
- Ability to operate custodial tools and equipment
- Ability to meet schedule and timelines
- Understanding and following work directions
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Able to follow instructions per tenant request
- Works cooperatively with others
- Observes health and safety regulations
- Ability to use two-way radio
- Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to grasp, bend, squat, crawl, lift and reach
- Comfortable working around moving machinery and exposure to dust and chemical fumes
Job Duties
- Empty wastebaskets by thoroughly damp wiping in/out
- Dust and wipe clean all furniture, equipment, telephones, and windowsills
- Dust baseboards, chair rails, picture frames, and doors within reach
- Remove finger marks and smudges from entrance doors, light switches, door frames, and interior glass
- Vacuum all carpeted areas, sweep and/or damp mop all hard floor surfaces nightly
- Dust all doors and ventilating louvers within reach
- Maintain janitor closet and ensure all assigned equipment is clean
- Turn off all lights and secure doors upon completion of cleaning
- Report malfunctions or maintenance issues
- Clean pantry including microwave and refrigerator as directed
- Clean lavatories thoroughly with disinfectants
- Machine scrub floors and apply floor finish
- Sweep, damp mop and spray buff hard floor surfaces
- Operate freight elevator and remove rubbish from designated areas
- Dispose of rubbish in proper containers
