Job Requirements

  • Previous experience as a line cook or similar kitchen role, preferably in a leadership capacity
  • Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen safety standards
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Food Handler’s Certification

Job Duties

  • Lead and supervise kitchen line staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations during service hours
  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
  • Ensure all food is prepared safely and hygienically, complying with health and safety regulations
  • Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
  • Collaborate with kitchen team to maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen
  • Support the Chef in training and mentoring junior kitchen staff
  • Help manage kitchen workflow to meet customer demand and minimize waste
