Muckleshoot Indian Bingo is a premier entertainment venue situated in Auburn, Washington. Since its inception on January 21, 1985, this establishment has played a pivotal role in fostering economic prosperity for the Muckleshoot Indian Tribe. Originally a modest bingo tent located where the Muckleshoot Casino now stands, the facility has expanded into a vast 55,000 square foot, state-of-the-art entertainment complex. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • AA/AS degree in Culinary Arts preferred
  • Minimum of five years cooking experience with an emphasis in short order cooking of burgers, steaks, pastas, and breakfast items
  • Two years kitchen supervisory experience required
  • Possess and maintain a valid WA State health card/food handler permit

Job Duties

  • Assists with the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the kitchen staff including hiring, training, career development
  • planning, assigning, and reviewing work performance
  • preparing work schedules, maintaining employee department files
  • addressing complaints and resolving issues from department employees
  • Creates, develops, and maintains menus, recipes, and related product requisitions
  • Assists with the development and implementation of department SOPs, station prep lists, and safety procedures
  • Oversees all kitchen operations to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Plan, direct, and supervise food preparation and cooking activities to ensure the highest quality of all menu items
  • Develops and verifies the completion of assigned station prep lists
  • Instruct kitchen staff in the preparation, cooking, garnishing, or presentation of food per Bingo kitchen standardized recipes
  • Forecasts required supplies, requisitions, inspects/rotates and inventories current/received products
  • Responsible for the specific training of line cooks in sautéing, broiling, grilling, frying, steaming, and baking
  • Meets with vendors and recommends new products
  • Responsible for waste, temperatures, and other health and safety logs/reports daily
  • Coordinates and communicates with other kitchen staff
  • Ensures that all sanitation and safety procedures are followed
  • Responsible for establishing par levels
  • Cooks on the line as needed
  • Performs other duties as assigned
