Job Requirements

  • Graduation from high school or equivalent
  • one year of full-time social services, clerical, secretarial, administrative support, general office, or FPS experience
  • use of personal motor vehicle
  • reliable motor vehicle with acceptable driving record for the past five years
  • current and valid Texas driver’s license appropriate for vehicle and passenger or cargo load
  • provide proof of driving record, insurance, and license
  • willingness to travel up to 75%
  • ability to work full time during daytime hours
  • pass a background check and, if applicable, a driver’s record check

Job Qualifications

  • Graduation from high school or equivalent
  • one year of full-time social services, clerical, secretarial, administrative support, general office, or FPS experience
  • bilingual preferred
  • ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • ability to follow instructions
  • ability to work effectively with others
  • ability to supervise children of various ages
  • ability to operate a personal computer and basic office equipment
  • knowledge of Child Protective Services and community resources

Job Duties

  • Provide transportation for clients as requested by caseworkers or supervisors
  • supervise parent and child visitations
  • complete forms and document client contact including data entry into IMPACT and other agency systems
  • maintain appointment calendars for scheduling requests
  • perform clerical duties including typing, filing, faxing, copying, and answering telephone inquiries
  • promote respect for cultural diversity
  • attend work regularly in accordance with agency leave policy
