Job Requirements
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge
- Ability to handle ongoing face-to-face contact with patients, guests and staff
- Excellent oral communication skills
- Strong listening skills
- Ability to work varied shifts including weekends
- Flexibility to assist patients and guests with unique needs
- Ability to coordinate with multiple departments and staff
- Prior experience in hospital or institutional settings preferred but not required

Job Duties
- Meets, greets and assists patients and guests and provides general information regarding the services, the facility and geographical area
- Responds to special requests from patients, customers and guests, making special arrangements to ensure unique needs are met
- Assists patients and guests with scheduling transportation or other services as needed
- Gathers, summarizes and provides information to patients and their guests about the property and surrounding area amenities and establishments
- Coordinates patient needs with other departments/areas, contacting appropriate individuals or departments as necessary to resolve patient requests
- Coordinates access to the care delivery area, performs visitor authorization procedures, serves as a liaison between visitors and staff, and relays visitor concerns to staff
- Answers phones, transfers calls, takes messages and relays messages and information as needed
- Provides tours of the facility and walks customers to appropriate areas within the facility
- Performs functions within established parameters with minimal supervision
- assists with patient and guest inquiries to ensure a positive experience
