Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management marketing communications or related field preferred
- Proven experience in event planning or related role
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by event schedules
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience as an event planner or similar role with a portfolio of successful corporate events
- Strong understanding of event management principles and practices
- Excellent organizational time management and multitasking abilities
- Exceptional negotiation and vendor management skills
- Creative flair and a keen eye for detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and vendors
- Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite

- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by event schedules
- A bachelor’s degree in hospitality management marketing communications or a related field is preferred
Job Duties
- Conceptualize plan and execute a wide range of corporate events ensuring they align with client objectives and brand standards
- Manage all aspects of event logistics including venue selection vendor negotiation catering audiovisual décor and entertainment
- Develop detailed event budgets and manage expenses to ensure projects remain within financial parameters
- Source select and manage relationships with vendors suppliers and contractors
- Create event timelines and project plans ensuring all deadlines are met
- Coordinate event staffing including registration guest services and on-site support
- Oversee event setup execution and breakdown ensuring seamless operations
- Conduct post-event evaluations and debriefings with clients and internal teams to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement
- Stay abreast of industry trends new venues and innovative event concepts
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health safety and licensing regulations
- Assist with client communication and relationship management throughout the planning process
