Job Duties
- Plan and schedule housekeeping and laundry work, occasionally perform employee duties on a relief basis
- interview, hire, orient new staff and evaluate existing employees' work performance
- order and requisition supplies through approved company processes
- manage budget planning and cost control for housekeeping and laundry departments
- ensure compliance with legal, safety, health, fire, and sanitation codes
- be familiar with the center's fire, safety, and disaster plans and Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)
- maintain orderly, clean, and sanitary conditions in the nursing center
