Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1-3 months related experience or training
  • current California Food Handlers Card
  • ability to read and understand basic English
  • ability to communicate effectively in English
  • ability to follow simple instructions
  • capability to lift, pull and push up to 50 pounds regularly
  • availability to work in a fast-paced, sometimes physically demanding environment
  • adherence to company policies and safety procedures

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED or 1-3 months related experience and/or training or equivalent combinations of education and experience
  • current California Food Handlers Card
  • ability to read two and three syllable words
  • recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers
  • ability to speak and understand English both written and verbally
  • ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or two step instructions

Job Duties

  • Clean and put away all plates, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment
  • operate and maintain dish machine
  • take out trash, mop restaurant floors and maintain general restaurant cleanliness inside and out from curb to curb
  • bus tables and maintain dining room cleanliness and sanitation
  • receive and store all orders properly
  • assist in food preparation as needed
  • perform additional tasks in other departments as assigned
  • work on special projects or assist with other company operations as directed
  • adapt to job duty changes, reassignment, or additional job responsibilities
