Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED
1-3 months related experience or training
current California Food Handlers Card
ability to read and understand basic English
ability to communicate effectively in English
ability to follow simple instructions
capability to lift, pull and push up to 50 pounds regularly
availability to work in a fast-paced, sometimes physically demanding environment
adherence to company policies and safety procedures

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or GED or 1-3 months related experience and/or training or equivalent combinations of education and experience
current California Food Handlers Card
ability to read two and three syllable words
recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers
ability to speak and understand English both written and verbally
ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or two step instructions

Job Duties

Clean and put away all plates, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment
operate and maintain dish machine
take out trash, mop restaurant floors and maintain general restaurant cleanliness inside and out from curb to curb
bus tables and maintain dining room cleanliness and sanitation
receive and store all orders properly
assist in food preparation as needed
perform additional tasks in other departments as assigned
work on special projects or assist with other company operations as directed
adapt to job duty changes, reassignment, or additional job responsibilities
