Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years experience in the revenue management field

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 years experience in the revenue management field
  • bachelor's degree
  • in-depth knowledge of industry reports such as STR, Agency 360, Demand 360, OTA Insights
  • proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • ability to work quickly in high-pressure and high stress environments
  • ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing

  • exceptional attention to detail and follow up
  • flexible and able to work long hours when required

Job Duties

  • Establish hotel pricing levels in all segments and all room types
  • responsible for the daily room inventory management process and daily pricing process
  • monitor competitor rates, positioning, strategies and data
  • maintain understanding of the dynamics of the local market and demand generators and present appropriate action plans to management
  • monitor and communicate fluctuations in occupancy to operational departments to manage staffing and increase efficiency
  • analyze local events and activities and project the effect of opportunities they create
  • understand macro and micro-economic variables affecting supply and demand to create accurate revenue forecasts
  • perform unconstrained demand analysis to determine optimal business mix
  • responsible for short and long term revenue forecasts
  • oversee evaluation process for contracted business opportunities
  • maintain revenue management software programs
  • monitor RevPAR index and provide critical analysis
  • prepare annual rooms revenue budget
  • chair weekly revenue strategy meetings
  • prepare and present reports to ownership
  • ensure all distribution channels have correct content and pricing
  • develop and maintain relationships with market managers of OTAs and peers
  • actively develop subordinates with training and industry participation
  • manage digital marketing campaigns
  • establish and communicate sales strategies
  • analyze prior night successes and address opportunities
  • conduct test calls to ensure rate accuracy
  • manage and communicate group cut off dates
  • review daily performance reports
  • complete month-end reports and action plans
  • review booking trends and volume account production
  • maintain professionalism and effective communication
  • multitask and prioritize departmental functions
  • attend required meetings and training
  • comply with company standards and policies
  • maximize productivity and problem-solving
  • maintain confidentiality
  • perform other duties as assigned
