Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • at least one year prior culinary experience in a high volume or quality kitchen environment
  • proven ability to supervise and lead a team
  • strong understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
  • excellent multitasking and organizational skills
  • ability to work onsite full-time
  • food handlers certification preferred

Job Qualifications

  • At least one year prior culinary experience in a quality and high volume establishment with an emphasis on scratch cooking
  • complete knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques and standards
  • excellent attention to detail and the ability to perform multiple tasks at once
  • strong leadership and supervisory skills
  • high-level product knowledge
  • friendly and helpful customer service skills

Job Duties

  • Instructing and training employees in all aspects of food service and sanitation
  • ensuring meal services begin on time
  • ensuring that portion, appearance and temperature for all food items is appropriate and of high quality
  • supervising a team of culinary staff to meet established standards
  • coordinating kitchen operations for efficiency and adherence to protocols
  • maintaining compliance with food safety regulations
  • monitoring inventory and food supplies to reduce waste
