Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • at least one year's culinary experience in a high volume setting
  • knowledge of culinary methods and sanitation standards
  • ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • experience in team supervision
  • strong attention to detail
  • excellent communication skills

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Instructing and training employees in all aspects of food service and sanitation
  • ensuring meal services begin on time
  • ensuring that portion, appearance and temperature for all food items is appropriate and of high quality
  • supervising and coordinating the work of kitchen staff
  • monitoring compliance with culinary methods and safety standards
  • managing inventory and ordering supplies as needed
  • addressing employee performance and providing feedback
