Job Requirements
- High school degree or GED
- Proven customer service experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Sunrise software applications
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Compliance with health screenings including drug test and vaccinations as mandated

Job Duties
- Oversee the community entry area for visitors, guests, and residents, extend a warm welcome and greeting, offer and provide beverages to visitors and guests, and ensure that the community safety protocols are in place
- Contact the Director of Sales, Executive Director, or Department Coordinator to meet with prospective residents, families, or visitors and ensure wait times are minimal
- Greet potential candidates interested in learning more about Sunrise careers and job openings and direct candidates to apply online or capture information in the Applicant Tracking System
- Answer incoming telephone calls and resident calls within two-three rings with appropriate community greeting and identification
- Take complete and accurate messages and communicate messages to the intended recipient
- Offer and provide community overview to callers and determine appropriate forwarding
- Manage appointments for residents and family members such as hairdresser and transportation
- Send get well cards to residents in the hospital and sympathy cards to families
- Order Memory Flower for residents who have passed away
- Order flowers and name plates for new residents prior to move in
- Order guest meals for residents and family on move-in days
- Maintain marketing and move-in packet inventory
- Support Director of Sales with inquiry calls and customer relationship management database entries
- Keep desk and entry area neat and organized
- Monitor Bistro cleanliness and restock snacks and beverages
- Maintain background music throughout the day
- Ensure front desk coverage when stepping away
- Partner with community team to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and risk management policies
- Practice safety procedures including PPE, fire extinguisher use, SDS, and Lockout Tagout
- Maintain resident, team member rosters and current work schedules for emergencies
- Champion Safe Leaving Program ensuring resident safety and service standards
- Respond to emergencies per policies
- Maintain sign-in/out logs for guests and residents
- Track high-risk elopement list with photographs
- Maintain heightened awareness at entry and exit points
- Update resident phone list, move-in and move-out registers, guest logs, and meal counts
- Collect and process meal ticket money
- Organize and distribute mail and newspapers
- Post daily menu and maintain resident credit forms
- Assist with recruitment data entry and administrative duties
- Order office supplies as needed
- Track and disperse team member paychecks
- Participate actively as a committed team member
- Demonstrate Team Member Credo and Principles of Service
- Engage in team member and customer engagement programs
- Attend meetings and maintain compliance with required training
- Perform other duties as assigned
