Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years of age
- must be legally authorized to work within the united states
- reliable transportation to work is required
- valid driver’s license preferred
- self-directed with the ability to work independently
- alzheimer’s/dementia experience a plus
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in caregiving or similar role preferred
- certification as a CNA or HHA preferred
- ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families
- compassion and patience in working with elderly clients
- basic knowledge of Alzheimer’s and dementia care is a plus
Job Duties
- offer companionship and non-medical support to seniors in their own homes
- assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and transfers
- provide medication reminders
- complete light housekeeping duties and meal preparation duties
- perform grocery shopping
- provide transportation to errands and doctor appointments
