Job Description
Elite Home Health Care is a licensed home care agency that provides professional in-home services throughout the New York Metropolitan, Central, and Upstate New York regions. Renowned for its commitment to delivering high-quality care, Elite Home Health Care employs only the most qualified caregivers who are licensed, background-checked, and selected not only for their skills but also for their warmth, attentiveness, and reliability. The company fosters a supportive environment where caregivers and clients alike feel valued and respected. Elite Home Health Care's mission is to deliver compassionate, professional, and integrity-centered care that supports clients to live safely and comfortably in their own homes while building strong relationships within the communities they serve.
The current opportunity is for Certified Personal Care Aides (PCAs) and Home Health Aides (HHAs) to join their dedicated team. These roles offer flexible shifts, including full-time, part-time, and per diem options, allowing caregivers to select schedules that fit their lifestyle. This flexibility includes weekday, weekend, and overnight shifts, catering to those who seek balance between work and personal life. Compensation is competitive, with added holiday pay and the convenience of direct deposit. In addition to the rewarding work environment, Elite Home Health Care offers career advancement opportunities, ongoing training and development, and comprehensive benefits such as medical, dental, 401(k), life insurance, and paid time off.
The role of a PCA or HHA with Elite Home Health Care involves providing essential support to clients in their homes. Caregivers assist with light housekeeping, errands, meal preparation, grocery shopping, ambulation, and transfers. They also provide personal care services, including bathing, dressing, mobility assistance, and incontinence care. Beyond physical assistance, caregivers offer companionship and emotional support to clients and their families, promoting a positive and supportive atmosphere. They provide medication reminders to help clients adhere to their prescribed treatments and maintain accurate documentation of daily activities, health status, and overall client well-being. Working as a PCA or HHA at Elite means contributing to the comfort and safety of clients while being part of a compassionate and professional team. This position is ideal for individuals who possess a compassionate, reliable, and professional demeanor and have a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of others.
