Job Requirements
- high school diploma or ged
- at least six months experience and/or training with children ages 0-5 preferred
- good communication skills both written and verbal
- ability to follow through on assigned tasks
- relate positively and clearly with children, parents, volunteers, and staff
- demonstrate basic computer literacy and skills
- bilingual english/spanish preferred
- a valid az driver's license free of restrictions or az state id preferred

Job Duties
- assist the bus driver and facilities custodian in ensuring children's safety on the bus
- provide educational activities complementing classroom learning
- give clear and appropriate directives regarding conduct and safety
- actively supervise children by sight and sound at all times
- maintain health and safety regulations to create an optimum learning environment
- facilitate health practices to keep children safe in bus and other environments
- promote school readiness by preparing children and families for educational success
