  • Maintain a well-organized video archive filing system, utilizing software like Adobe Bridge or media asset management tools for easy retrieval of past projects
  • Implement creative decision-making to ensure the quality and impact of the final video productions, utilizing the full capabilities of the chosen editing software
  • Collaborate with team members, including producers and directors, to understand project requirements and incorporate feedback into the editing process
  • Utilize video editing software and equipment proficiently, staying updated on the latest features and advancements
  • Conduct quality checks on the final product to meet technical and creative standards using both software-specific tools and manual review
  • Manage project timelines effectively using project management software or features within editing software to meet deadlines
  • Problem-solve and address technical challenges during the editing process, employing troubleshooting skills within the chosen software
  • Adapt editing style to match the tone and style guidelines of each project, ensuring consistency and cohesiveness
  • Archive and store edited projects and raw footage for future reference or use, leveraging file management features within editing software and storage solutions

Video Editor Experience Requirements & Skills
