Program Specialist Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee the planning and coordination of new activities
- Handle logistical aspects of program implementation, including budgeting, scheduling, venue selection and coordination of resources

Program Specialist Experience Requirements & Skills
- Proven work experience as a Program Specialist or in a similar role
- Program planning, development and implementation skills
- Ability to collect and analyze information and devise statistical analyses
- Familiarity with grant writing processes and the ability to prepare compelling grant proposals to secure funding
- Proficiency in negotiation techniques to facilitate agreements with stakeholders, partners or funders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals and constituencies in a diverse community
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Outstanding leadership skills
- Ability to deliver oral presentations
