Strategic Planner Duties & Responsibilities

Identify and articulate both short-term and long-term organizational goals
Perform thorough market research to assess industry trends, analyze competitor activities, and identify potential opportunities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights and ensure alignment of strategies with company objectives
Formulate, refine and implement business strategies based on research findings and organizational priorities
Monitor and evaluate the progress of strategic initiatives, adjusting plans as needed to achieve established goals
Analyze data, including financial metrics and key performance indicators, to inform decision-making
Prepare and present reports on strategy implementation, highlighting successes, challenges and areas for improvement

Foster a strategic mindset across the organization by providing guidance and support to teams
Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support strategic initiative

Strategic Planner Experience Requirements & Skills

Proven experience as a Strategic Planner or in a similar strategic role
Demonstrated success in developing and implementing effective business strategies
Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills
Proficiency in market research methodologies and data analysis
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with diverse teams
Ability to formulate and articulate clear and actionable strategies
Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Financial acumen for analyzing budgetary considerations and financial data
Project management skills to oversee the implementation of strategic initiatives
Adaptability to navigate changing business environments
High level of organizational and planning skills

Strategic Planner Education & Qualification Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Strategic Management, Finance or a related field
