Job Requirements
- minimum of 2 years of experience leading a team in a marina boatyard environment
- marina and boat yard experience preferred
- cdl-a licensure a plus
- rhode island hoisting license a plus
- ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with leadership
- commitment to customer service
- computer skills and familiarity with microsoft office suite
- physical ability to perform extended standing and walking climbing bending reaching pulling pushing kneeling and lifting up to 50 lbs
- ability to work in environments with exposure to extreme temperatures chemicals dirt fumes smoke unpleasant odors and/or loud noises
- knowledge of basic safety precautions and use of applicable protective equipment

Job Duties
- manage the day-to-day operations of the yard ensuring efficient and safe processes
- supervise the yard associates providing guidance and support as needed
- train new yard associates on yard procedures and safety protocols
- work with the service operations manager to provide insight for budgets and scheduling
- ensuring compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards
- develop short- and long-term plans for vessel movements and storage
- maintain and monitor all equipment and facilities ensuring efficient use of resources
- collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and customer satisfaction
- foster a harassment-free workplace and act promptly to address any human resources concerns
- intervene on customer services issues and complaints as needed
- perform any other duties assigned by the service operations manager and leadership team
