Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • three or more years of industrial manufacturing experience
  • ability to work overtime as needed
  • must possess a TWIC card or be eligible to obtain one
  • must be legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
  • willingness and physical ability to lift, push, and pull up to 55 lbs
  • ability to frequently bend, reach, and lift
  • ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • ability to work at heights and climb stairs and ladders
  • ability to work in tight and enclosed spaces
  • willingness to wear all required personal protective equipment including respirator, earplugs, goggles, and steel-toed shoes

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • three or more years of industrial manufacturing experience
  • ability to work overtime as needed
  • possession of or eligibility to obtain a TWIC card
  • able to work legally in the United States without visa sponsorship
  • five years of supervision or industrial maintenance leadership experience preferred
  • experience in industrial maintenance or craft role preferred
  • experience within a maintenance organization preferred
  • experience using SAP and Microsoft preferred
  • willing and able to meet physical demands of the job

Job Duties

  • reviews job packages and prepares to do the task
  • reports the progress of the daily work to enable adjustments to the work schedule when needed
  • reviews work status with service providers and originators and adjusts schedule as required
  • reassigns person scheduled to perform work to the next job if the equipment is not prepared for maintenance on the originally assigned job
  • confirms that all scheduled job sequences, work and paperwork for the job have been completed and closes work order
  • spends time in field to accurately assess and plan repair work that is not archived
  • streamlines plans to safely and effectively perform repairs
  • creates job packages with all necessary documents as determined by best practice
  • actively participates and leverages within the planner network
  • utilizes internet search capabilities to locate and identify spare parts for ordering
  • works with site materials management department for ordering parts
  • uses good verbal and written communication skills
