- 1-2 years of job-specific work experience
- must be at least 21 years of age
- food handler permit
- tips certificate
- sheriff work card
- competency in reading, writing and arithmetic
- ability to learn menus, recipes and wine lists
- good interpersonal skills including excellent customer service, listening and oral communication
- organizational skills
- ability to transport fragile items in busy areas

Job Duties
- Report to work on time in the proper uniform
- obey all company rules and regulations
- prepare assigned station and assist others as needed
- greet and inform guests of specials and menu changes
- employ suggestive selling techniques to enhance guest experience
- address and anticipate guest needs
- maintain cleanliness of tables and bar
- serve alcohol according to state laws
- handle financial transactions and run end of shift reports
- maintain sanitation and safety practices
- treat guests and employees with respect
- resolve guest and internal concerns professionally
