Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in a culinary or food service role preferred
  • ability to work weekend shifts including Saturdays and Sundays
  • physical capability to stand for extended periods and perform kitchen tasks
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • commitment to embodying resort lifestyle communities core values
  • willingness to adhere to safety and cleanliness standards

Job Qualifications

  • at least 18 years of age
  • eagerness to learn and grow as a professional in the food service industry
  • experience working in a team environment ideally in a culinary setting
  • knowledge and ability to prep, prepare and present food on a buffet
  • ability to cook eggs and omelets as ordered
  • knowledge of food sanitation guidelines
  • ability to operate kitchen equipment as needed

Job Duties

  • prepare and serve dynamic entrees appealing and personalized to residents preferences
  • ensure highest standards of cleanliness and safety within the kitchen
  • interact warmly with residents to create positive dining experiences
  • operate kitchen equipment as needed
  • adhere to food sanitation guidelines strictly
  • cook and present eggs and omelets as ordered
  • work collaboratively with the culinary and dining services team under the direction of the executive chef
