Job Requirements

  • minimum high school diploma or equivalent
  • at least 1-2 years of direct sales experience preferred
  • ability to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • capability to respond promptly to inquiries
  • physical ability to assist with event setup including lifting or moving décor and equipment
  • commitment to maintaining a client-focused approach
  • proficiency in basic computer skills

Job Qualifications

  • minimum of 1-2 years direct sales experience
  • experience in the wedding and hospitality industry preferred
  • familiarity with Delphi or Salesforce beneficial
  • strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • ability to manage multiple clients and leads simultaneously
  • availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
  • professional demeanor and customer-service orientation

Job Duties

  • qualify and solicit both existing and new accounts with a strong emphasis on acquiring new business in the wedding and social event sectors
  • develop and maintain relationships with event planners and potential clients
  • follow established sales process by qualifying leads, probing for needs, conducting site visits, and closing business
  • respond promptly to all inquiries, prospects, and business opportunities
  • accurately track and report on leads using assigned lead pipeline, updating status daily and monitoring conversion rates and booking statistics
  • prepare and send weekly sales activity reports to keep Sales Director informed of progress
  • develop actionable plans to increase revenue and address bookings for needed dates in lodging and events
  • acquire expert knowledge of Camp Lucy’s history, venue specifications, capacities, lodging options, banquet services, and floral arrangements
  • attend industry networking events to build relationships and solicit new business
