Job Requirements
- Physical ability to lift chairs, move tables, and assist with banquet set-up and tear-down
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Previous experience in hospitality leadership roles
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Commitment to excellent guest service
- Willingness to work shifts of more than 8 hours and workweeks exceeding 40 hours
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a banquet captain or in a similar leadership role within the hospitality industry
- Experience with weddings and events preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities
- Passion for delivering flawless guest experiences
- Attention to detail and aesthetic standards
- Proactive and hands-on approach to problem-solving
Job Duties
- Take the lead in event execution by overseeing event setups, coordinate with vendors, direct event staff, manage timelines, and ensure seamless execution
- Mentor and motivate event staff to deliver exceptional service and exceed expectations
- Anticipate potential issues and troubleshoot to keep events on track and clients satisfied
- Be the face of hospitality by promptly resolving guest concerns efficiently
- Uphold rigorous health, safety, and cleanliness standards to ensure company excellence
