Job Requirements
- Flexible schedule, able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position during shift
- Must be able to access and navigate the facility
- Employees are required to adhere to safety requirements by wearing the appropriate personal protective equipment
- Work is routine and repetitive in nature and may require strenuous physical exertion at times, including the ability to move objects weighing up to 75lbs
- Must maintain high standards in grooming and professional appearance
- Familiarity with the water park and other resort facilities
Job Qualifications
- Maintain a current CPR / First Aid Certification
- Ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate emergency responses with hotel staff and guests
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented and thorough
- Ability to remain discreet and respect the privacy of guests
- Ability to interact with guests in a pleasant, friendly way
Job Duties
- Prioritize the safety and well-being of all hotel water park guests
- Maintain the operational effectiveness of water park facilities and promptly report any maintenance issues to the Hotel General Manager
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of pool areas and corridors including removing trash, wiping down shelves/counters, sweeping, mopping and/or vacuuming floors
- Provide assistance to guests with attractions and immediately report any inquiries they may have
- Execute daily startup and closure procedures for water park attractions
- Support emergency response plans as directed by the Hotel General Manager
- Address and resolve guest complaints and issues effectively
