Job Requirements
- high school diploma or general education degree (ged)
- at least one year hvac industry experience
- valid driver’s license and ability to maintain it
- forklift certification
- physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs safely
- basic computer skills
- ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- willingness to undergo background checks and drug tests
- experience or certification in commercial driving
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or general education degree (ged)
- at least one year hvac industry experience
- general knowledge of hvac products preferred
- at least one year’s experience or driver’s certificate from driving training school
- forklift certification and ability to maintain certification
- basic computer knowledge
- experience with data entry and inventory management systems preferred
- excellent communication and customer service skills
Job Duties
- responsibly transports and loads/unloads items to a customer’s job site, place of business, or other assigned destination
- build strong relationships with the customers to ensure that we continue to deliver outstanding customer experience
- inspect truck pre and post trip to ensure everything, including emergency, mechanical and safety gear, is in working order
- performs required minor maintenance and keeps the vehicle clean
- obtain and maintain necessary documentation such as proof of delivery/pick up, driver logs, truck condition forms, maintenance logs, etc.
- collects/picks up empty containers or rejected/unsold merchandise
- assist with branch operations such as receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock, cycle counts/inventory, etc.
- supports the branch with counter sales support
- perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned
