Job Requirements
- 21 years of age or older
- must have and maintain valid driver’s license for assigned vehicle class
- class C license - anything 26,000 lbs or less combined gross weight
- class B license - box truck with a combined vehicle weight of 26,001 lbs or more
- have and maintain a clean driving record
- ability to lift up to 75 pounds
- ability to bend, squat, crouch, reach
- ability to work indoors and outdoors during assigned work hours
- ability to maintain required attendance and onsite presence
- physical capacity to sit and stand for extended periods
- ability to operate common office equipment including computers and copiers
- oral communication skills including speech clarity and recognition
- written communication skills including reading and comprehension
- mental capacities including active listening, adaptability, critical thinking, problem sensitivity, and time management
Job Qualifications
- valid driver’s license for assigned vehicle class
- clean driving record
- knowledge of DOT regulations
- forklift certification
- ability to provide high quality customer service
- ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
Job Duties
- working cooperatively in a team within the warehouse to efficiently receive, verify, stage and stock incoming material in order to maintain inventory standards
- verifying all loads to ensure accurate customer deliveries
- properly load and unload the materials from the truck and maintain inventory control
- operating the class of vehicle necessary for the assignment
- driving in various conditions including urban and construction settings
- delivering high quality customer service and professionalism
