Job Requirements
- Valid Class C driver’s license
- minimum 1 year driving experience with heavy-duty vehicles
- minimum 1 year warehouse experience
- comfort with local deliveries involving multiple stops
- electric pallet jack experience
- successful completion of driving test and DOT requirements
- safety-minded and able to maintain accurate logbook
- ability to understand and interpret bill of lading and picking sheets
- experience with iPad or tablet preferred
- bilingual Spanish is a plus
- able to lift 65lbs and carry 30lbs
- able to push/pull 137lbs vertically
- able to ascend and descend ladder
- able to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and crouch frequently
- able to work at heights of 72 inches and at 6 inches above ground
- safety-sensitive position
Job Qualifications
- Valid Class C driver’s license
- minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience with heavy-duty vehicles
- minimum of 1 year of hands-on warehouse experience
- comfortable with making local deliveries with multiple stops
- proficient with electric pallet jack
- successful completion of driving test and all DOT requirements
- safety-minded with logbook proficiency
- capable of interpreting bill of lading and picking sheets
- previous experience using iPad or tablet preferred
- bilingual in Spanish is a plus
Job Duties
- Deliver countertop and flooring material safely and efficiently
- conduct driveway deliveries and utilize electric pallet jack to unload pallets
- assist in loading, unloading, and securing cargo
- position blocks, ties, straps, chains, and binders for cargo securement
- maintain alertness and operate vehicles safely
- exhibit patience and polite demeanor towards road users
- demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills
- adapt to changing conditions and prioritize customer-centric service
- work independently while maintaining focus
- perform additional duties as required
