Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- valid driver’s license
- clean driving record
- medical card
- ability to lift minimum of 25 pounds
- ability to read and understand information presented in writing
- pre-employment drug screening required
- Class A CDL preferred
- ability to drive local routes safely and efficiently

- experience in water/sewer utilities field is a plus
Job Duties
- Follow safety rules and work procedures
- prepare receipts for load picked up
- maintain truck log according to state and federal regulations
- maintain telephone or radio contact with supervisor for delivery instructions
- position blocks and/or tie rope around items to secure cargo during transit
- load and unload truck
- inspect truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water
- perform emergency roadside repairs such as changing tires, installing light bulbs, tire chains, and spark plugs
- clean work area or vehicle
- perform other duties as needed
