Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-year verifiable experience driving a straight truck within the last 5 years
- Ability to pass a driver background check
- Meet all DOT regulations for med card
- Maintain a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Ability to perform physical tasks related to loading and unloading materials
- Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and team members
Job Qualifications
- Requires 1-year verifiable experience within the last 5 years driving a straight truck (26' box truck, automatic transmission)
- Ability to pass a driver background check
- Ability to meet all DOT regulations needed to receive and maintain a med card
- Valid license and an acceptable driving record as per insurance provider requirements
Job Duties
- Pull, stage, and load outgoing material orders
- Unload, count, and stock incoming materials
- Drive to deliver material and load and unload material within a predetermined driving schedule
- Maintain truck, perform daily pre-trip inspections, and provide minor maintenance on truck if needed
- Process paperwork including but not limited to tickets, bills of lading, customer signed receipts, and COD handling
- Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries to provide timely and accurate updates on orders and quotes
- Ensure all warehouse duties comply with safety and regulatory standards
