Job Requirements
- must be at least 21 years of age
- must have a valid Class B or better CDL license
- must have HAZMAT endorsement or be able to obtain the endorsement within 90 days of being hired
- successful completion of Airgas background and motor vehicle check
- DOT Clearinghouse verification from previous employers is required
- ability to routinely lift 25 - 75 lbs, and occasionally lift 76 to greater than 100 lbs with the use of equipment
- willingness to work outdoors in changing temperatures
- ability to maintain a drug-free workplace
- adherence to safety regulations and policies
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- forklift experience
- computer experience
- touch freight delivery experience
Job Duties
- stock, label, pick, pack, and distribute materials and supplies
- physically receive, check, and store delivered materials in the warehouse
- conduct regular inventory checks
- enforce policies for proper receipt, storage, and distribution of materials
- review invoices
- organize and control inventoried items
- assist with inventory management, housekeeping, showroom displays, and demonstrations
- perform back-up duties as per the branch daily checklist
- assist customers with merchandise
- load and unload cylinders as needed
