Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior warehouse experience
- ability to operate cherry picker and stand-up reach truck
- physical ability to lift 30 lbs to 50 lbs
- availability to work variable schedules including overtime
- basic math skills
- strong communication skills
- commitment to safety policies
- willingness to learn and improve
- reliable and hardworking
- ability to follow verbal instructions
- capacity to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
Job Qualifications
- Strong warehouse background
- operate a forklift, pallet jack, order picker, reach truck and other warehouse equipment
- ability to perform basic math functions and use a calculator
- willingness to keep learning and improving
- high level of energy and drive to work with warehouse employees
- excellent people and communication skills
- maintain neat, clean, and orderly warehouse appearance
- ability to work extended hours/overtime as needed
- adherence to all company policies and safety procedures and guidelines
- ensure full-time use of Personal Protective Equipment
- safe and efficient operation of materials handling equipment
- commitment to maintaining sanitation, security, and safety of the warehouse
- ability to lift 30 lbs to 50 lbs
- adaptability to all warehouse schedules
Job Duties
- Receive verbal instructions from manager
- obtain product from racking, pallets, bins, or shelves
- organize stocks and maintain inventory
- organize warehouse space
- re-pack and re-organize product in storage areas and pick locations
- inspect pallets and products for defects and damage
- ensure proper replenishment and Put Away/Dock to Stock policies
- assist with unloading and receive/stage all incoming trucks
- ensure proper use and safety of forklift and other equipment operations
- examine incoming and outgoing shipments
- receive, unload and place incoming inventory items appropriately
- contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures
- use RF gun and Data entry in Warehouse Management System
- complete any additional tasks and duties assigned
