Job Requirements
- Must have the desire and ability to work in a warehouse environment
- Must be able to lift and move tires up to 150 lbs with or without mechanical assistance
- Frequent bending, twisting, and lifting
- Proper placement of received and shipping products in warehouse
- Must be willing and able to operate all warehouse related equipment
- Valid driver’s license in good standing
- Good safety record
- Ability to work in a fast paced, customer service oriented environment
- Attention to detail
- Commitment to being on time
- High School diploma or equivalent
Job Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable driving experience
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment
- Good safety record with no more than 3 violations in the last 3 years
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer service oriented environment
- Attention to detail
- Commitment to punctuality
- Forklift license is a plus
Job Duties
- Loads, unloads, checks and tallies tires to and from carriers
- Selects, packs, counts, marks, palletizes tires of customer orders and places them in the assigned staging areas according to bin locator system
- Checks and verifies accuracy of selecting, packing, weighing, marking, and counting of tires for customer orders
- Operates order picker, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
- Ensures safety guidelines are met in operating equipment and proper palletizing
- Performs inventory control activities including counting, tallying, and marking documents
- Participates in cycle and annual physical inventories
- Provides excellent customer service during deliveries
- Safely operates 16 to 28-foot box truck for product delivery
- Performs vehicle inspections and maintains driver logs
- Collects payments on a Cash on Delivery basis
- Reports mechanical defects to management
- Performs additional responsibilities as assigned
