Job Requirements
- Prior experience as a server
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- ability to work full-time or part-time
- availability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays
- prior experience in senior living or healthcare settings preferred
- ability to stand for extended periods
- excellent communication and customer service skills
- ability to follow food safety protocols
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience as a server
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- familiarity with specialized diets and allergens
- ability to handle cash and operate point-of-sale systems
- flexibility to work varying schedules including weekends and holidays
- ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in a senior living environment
Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- takes food and beverage orders efficiently following established service steps
- delivers food promptly and professionally maintaining safe food handling and sanitation
- assists guests with additional needs and requests
- advises guests on menu items and accommodates dietary restrictions
- communicates with culinary staff to ensure accurate order delivery
- follows proper cash-handling procedures
- maintains cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area
- addresses guest complaints and relays information to supervisors
- sets up and cleans dining areas before and after service
- operates equipment including fire extinguishers and beverage machines
- collaborates with other departments during special events
- performs other duties as assigned
