  • high school diploma or equivalent desired
  • ability to work under pressure
  • physical capability to perform lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing or walking for long periods

Job Duties

  • Follow a predetermined menu to prepare food and pastries
  • generate daily reports ensuring accuracy of transactions and meal planning
  • understand meal components to ensure inclusion
  • store food correctly to prevent contamination and spoilage
  • deliver food to patrons as per scheduled meal times and regulations
  • maintain and apply culinary utensils focusing on blades
  • ensure timely preparation of food items and beverages
  • enhance food presentation through garnishing
  • assist with sanitation of refrigeration units, freezers, cooking and serving equipment
  • uphold food safety standards including hygiene, handling, and storage
  • comply with uniform policies
  • coordinate daily menu planning with the manager
  • monitor food storage and serving temperatures
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of work and storage areas
  • perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dishwashing
  • manage garbage collection and kitchen floor cleanliness
  • perform additional kitchen support tasks as required
