Job Requirements
- Minimum of two years experience as a front waiter with fine dining and banquet service experience
- Minimum of one year experience selling and serving wine and other beverage products
- Must have a professional appearance and good hygiene
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules and 7 days a week
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to follow safety and environmental policies
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of two years experience as a front waiter with fine dining and banquet service experience in land-based hotels, resorts, or large restaurants
- Minimum of one year experience selling and serving wine and other beverage products
- Passionate about hospitality and customer service driven
- Must have a professional appearance and good hygiene
- Respectful of co-workers and guests
- Able to work 7 days a week
- Experience in shipboard service is an advantage
Job Duties
- Assist with achieving departmental guest satisfaction targets and food and beverage revenues by following established service strategies and optimizing up-sell opportunities
- Perform other related duties as assigned or as directed
- Be familiar with the Safety and Environmental Protection Policy and the SEMS, and carry out the policies and procedures appropriate for the position
- Ensure assigned station is properly cleaned and set-up at the end of the meal period and that all assigned side-work is complete
- Comply with sequence of service for food and beverage, and direct and instruct Assistant Waiters to ensure timeliness of service to guests
- Resolve any service and or product deficiencies that may occur to ensure satisfaction of service with guests in assigned station
- Perform other jobs as assigned, including manning non-cooking buffet action stations, delivering amenities on embarkation day, assisting with room service deliveries, assisting with private parties and functions, and assisting with conducting service training with Assistant Waiters and Restaurant Stewards
