Job Requirements

  • bachelor’s degree in business or related field
  • minimum 15 years of sales leadership experience in the consumer packaged goods industry
  • demonstrated success in leading sales teams and managing major retail accounts like walmart and sam's club
  • excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • strong strategic planning and analytical skills
  • proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop teams
  • experience working in a collaborative, cross-functional environment
  • willingness to travel as needed
  • ability to work in-person onsite at least three days per week in rogers, arkansas
  • proficiency in data-driven decision making and market analysis
  • strong financial management and budgeting capabilities

Job Qualifications

  • bachelor’s degree required
  • mba or equivalent advanced degree a plus
  • minimum 15 years of sales leadership experience in the cpg industry
  • proven track record of success with walmart and sam's club

Job Duties

  • develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets
  • analyze market trends to identify new sales opportunities and ensure the company’s competitive position
  • identify and develop growth opportunities at brand, category, and portfolio levels
  • set sales goals and objectives for customer teams
  • collaborate on KPIs for category, supply, and retail organizations
  • lead, mentor, and develop a high performing sales team
  • foster a collaborative and results-oriented sales culture
  • manage recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of the sales team
  • establish and maintain strong relationships with customers
  • execute regular TTTs and JBPs with customer
  • lead team through negotiations including contracts and pricing
  • address and resolve customer issues promptly
  • oversee development and execution of annual sales plan
  • monitor and analyze sales performance metrics and adjust strategies
  • collaborate cross functionally to align efforts
  • develop and manage sales budget
  • forecast sales projections and track financial performance
  • implement cost control measures
  • conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and customer preferences
  • articulate insights and recommendations to the executive team
