Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience
- Minimum two years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in Excel and Volgistics volunteer management software
- Ability to prepare reports and manage data
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Physical ability to perform frequent lifting and movement
- Willingness to work day shift with scheduled 36 hours per week
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or 10 years of work experience
- Two years of experience in volunteer coordination or related field
- Proficient in Excel and Volgistics software
- Experienced in preparing reports for leadership
- Strong critical thinking and adaptability skills
- Demonstrated leadership potential with ability to manage events and teams
Job Duties
- Conduct recruitment, selection and training of volunteers
- Coordinate the schedules and daily activities of volunteers
- Serve as liaison between leadership and volunteer resources to match department needs with volunteer skills
- Organize volunteer recognition programs and assist with fundraising efforts
- Build relationships with volunteers across diverse age groups including individuals with disabilities
- Lead fundraisers, social events, and auxiliary activities
- Manage multiple tasks and events with strong organizational skills
