Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum two years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency in Excel and Volgistics volunteer management software
  • Ability to prepare reports and manage data
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Physical ability to perform frequent lifting and movement
  • Willingness to work day shift with scheduled 36 hours per week

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED or 10 years of work experience
  • Two years of experience in volunteer coordination or related field
  • Proficient in Excel and Volgistics software
  • Experienced in preparing reports for leadership
  • Strong critical thinking and adaptability skills
  • Demonstrated leadership potential with ability to manage events and teams

Job Duties

  • Conduct recruitment, selection and training of volunteers
  • Coordinate the schedules and daily activities of volunteers
  • Serve as liaison between leadership and volunteer resources to match department needs with volunteer skills
  • Organize volunteer recognition programs and assist with fundraising efforts
  • Build relationships with volunteers across diverse age groups including individuals with disabilities
  • Lead fundraisers, social events, and auxiliary activities
  • Manage multiple tasks and events with strong organizational skills
