Job Requirements
- minimum 1 year experience in a recreation environment
- cpr, first aid, and aed certified
- ability to read, write and converse in english
- knowledge of computer programs including word, excel, power point and pos systems
- physical ability to bend, stretch, shove, pull, transcend steps, lift and carry 60 pounds
- ability to work outdoors in florida sub-tropical climate
- availability to work flexible hours including evenings, holidays, and weekends
Job Qualifications
- minimum 1 year experience in a recreation environment preferably resort oriented with emphasis on corporate, family, and children’s activities
- knowledge of age appropriate activities and enjoy working with all age groups
- well organized, creative, and a self starter
- cpr, first aid, and aed certified
- able to read, write, and converse in english
- strong knowledge of computer programs including word, excel, power point, and pos systems
- able to bend, stretch, shove, pull, transcend steps, lift and carry 60 pounds
- able to work outdoors in florida sub-tropical climate for extended periods
- able to work flexible hours including evenings, holidays, and weekends
Job Duties
- understand and promote the guiding principles of hammock beach resort and the recreation and kids crew departments
- provide direction to and supervise the staff in kids crew, putting green, and bike rentals
- monitor the day to day operations of kids crew programming and activities with variable age groups
- attend meetings and coordinate effectively with all departments within and outside the resort
- provide exceptional public relations and customer service
- maintain documentation including schedules, inventory, pre-registration, legal waivers, and disciplinary action
- assist in monitoring supplies, create purchase orders, and order supplies
- lead by example and be an exceptional role model
- work on special projects and contribute ideas for growth and development of programming
- assist in maintaining quality assurance and outstanding guest service
- be responsible for daily 5-sensing of kids crew, putting green, bike operations, and surrounding areas
- communicate through digital channels
- perform other job-related duties as required by management
