  • Previous experience in customer service or veterinary receptionist role preferred

Job Duties

  • Greet clients and pets by name with a smile and a positive attitude
  • Answer phones promptly and professionally using a multi-line phone system
  • Schedule appointments and surgeries according to hospital scheduling guidelines
  • Enter accurate charges and explain invoices to clients
  • Collect payment for services rendered including cash, credit cards, and checks
  • Verify eligibility of clients with charge accounts
  • Maintain and update medical and computer records accurately
  • Provide routine administration instructions and fill prescription refill forms
  • Advise clients on flea/tick preventatives, heartworm preventatives, and other retail products
