Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Excellent communication and multitasking skills
Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
Comfortable using multi-line phone systems
Proficient computer skills
Ability to handle payment transactions accurately
Willingness to work 30 plus hours per week
Passion for customer service and animal care
Ability to maintain professionalism in emotional situations

Job Qualifications

Demonstrated commitment to MPH core values
Computer knowledge including keyboarding and use of communication tools such as email and internet
Working knowledge of veterinary terminology with ability to pronounce, spell, and understand meanings
Excellent spelling and grammar skills
Ability to handle varied and sometimes difficult emotional conditions
Ability to display tact and respect with clients and team members
Ability to conduct oneself confidently, calmly, and professionally in stressful situations
Genuine liking for animals and their owners
Experience in a veterinary or medical setting is a plus but not required

Job Duties

Greet clients and their pets with a smile
Schedule appointments and manage patient records
Answer phones and assist with client questions
Process payments and invoices
Support a positive, professional front desk experience
Maintain accurate client and patient medical records
Advise clients on veterinary services and retail products
