Job Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Two to three years of prior experience in the audio visual and/or hospitality industry
  • Two years of advanced audio and visual experience in a theatrical or live event environment
  • Strong technical aptitude including audio visual equipment setup, strike and operation
  • Ability to plan and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, listening, and written communication skills
  • Customer focus
  • Team player orientation
  • Basic computer skills including MS Office, networking, IT device management, PC and Mac operations
  • Proficiency with PowerPoint, Keynote, and Internet usage

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Oversee daily floor operation including set and strike equipment for each event as required
  • Supervise non-union, union and contract labor to ensure setup and strikes meet company standards
  • Operate AV equipment in live show settings as needed
  • Greet guests and clients before events to provide clear equipment operation instructions
  • Maintain continuous communication with clients to ensure event success
  • Follow through on client requests and identify opportunities to enhance events
  • Complete flow sheets, equipment delivery and labor schedules, purchase orders as needed
  • Ensure all AV inventory is in good working order and rental condition
  • Enforce company security and safety protocols
  • Maintain accurate client event records in billing and event order systems
  • Review invoices with clients and obtain signatures on invoices and add-ons
  • Manage venue equipment inventory and secure against theft or damage
  • Report any lost, stolen or damaged equipment immediately
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of company-occupied areas
  • Perform other duties as assigned
