Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Hold a valid state-issued driver’s license
- Clean driving record with no serious violations in the past three years
- Ability to meet DOT & FMCSA qualification requirements
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Able to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs
- Adhere to all applicable CarMax policies and procedures
- Additional licensing or endorsements may be required for specific states
Job Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Valid state-issued driver’s license
- Class B CDL preferred
- Ability to meet DOT & FMCSA qualification requirements
- Minimum 1 year of customer service experience
- Minimum 1 year of delivery driving experience or 1 year CarMax experience
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Proficient in operating a manual transmission
Job Duties
- Operate a two-car hauler for customer vehicle deliveries
- Load, transport and off-load vehicles at various locations
- Facilitate completion of Home Delivery transactions
- Interact with customers, associates, and team members to provide exceptional customer service
- Perform brief condition verification for vehicles being transported
- Verify all vehicles meet CarMax’s cosmetic standards before delivery
- Comply with DOT/FMCSA requirements and company policies including inspections and hours-of-service
