Job Requirements
- must be 21 years of age or older
- valid state-issued driver’s license
- class B CDL preferred
- additional licensing and endorsements may be required depending on state
- clean driving record with no serious violations in the past three years meeting CarMax’s driver safety evaluation criteria
- ability to meet DOT and FMCSA qualification requirements
- one or more years of customer service experience
- one or more years of delivery driving experience or one year CarMax experience
- good communication and teamwork skills
- adherence to all applicable CarMax policies and procedures
- able to lift heavy objects up to 50 pounds
- proficient in operating a manual transmission
- willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- operate a two-car hauler for customer vehicle deliveries
- load, transport and off-load vehicles at various locations to ensure proper vehicle placement
- facilitate the completion of home delivery transactions
- interact with customers and team members to provide outstanding customer service
- perform brief and guided condition verifications for transported vehicles
- verify vehicles meet cosmetic standards before delivery
- comply with DOT/FMCSA requirements and CarMax policies including pre-trip and post-trip inspections and hours-of-service
