Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- valid state-issued driver’s license
- Class B CDL preferred
- additional licensing and endorsement requirements may apply for select states such as Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, and Mississippi
- clean driving record with no serious violations in the past three years
- ability to meet DOT and FMCSA qualification requirements
- 1+ year of customer service experience
- 1+ year of delivery driving experience or 1 year CarMax experience
- good communication and teamwork skills
- adherence to all applicable CarMax policies and procedures
- able to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs and winch transported vehicles during loading
- proficient in operating a manual transmission
- willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions

Job Duties
- Operate a two-car hauler for customer vehicle deliveries
- load, transport and off-load CarMax vehicles at various locations to ensure correct vehicle placement
- facilitate completion of home delivery transactions
- interact with customers and team members to provide excellent customer service
- perform condition verification of transported vehicles
- verify vehicles meet cosmetic standards before delivery
- comply with DOT/FMCSA regulations including pre-trip and post-trip inspections and hours-of-service requirements
