Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred
- Ability to follow sanitation standards and safety regulations
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing and lifting
- Knowledge of safe food handling practices
- Willingness to work as part of a team
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to identify safety hazards and respond appropriately
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in dishwashing or utility roles preferred
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and kitchen safety practices
- Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately
- Strong attention to detail
- Good physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods
- Effective communication skills
Job Duties
- Perform dishwashing functions including setup and breakdown of dish machine following sanitation standards
- Clean, sanitize, and store dishes and kitchen equipment appropriately
- Conduct routine sanitation of kitchen equipment as directed
- Sweep, clean and mop floors to maintain high sanitary conditions
- Dispose of waste properly and clean trash receptacles both inside and out
- Complete assigned job tasks following sanitation standards and OBRA guidelines
- Follow Gold Check cleaning procedures as designated by management
- Adhere to safety regulations when using chemicals and follow safe food handling practices
- Identify safety hazards and emergency situations and take immediate appropriate action
