Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks
- Capability to work various shifts including weekends
- Compliance with drug-free workplace policy
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Safe operation of warehouse equipment
- Effective communication skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous warehouse or freight handling experience preferred
- Ability to operate power equipment safely
- Basic maintenance skills preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Demonstrated commitment to integrity and ethical behavior
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and continuous improvement initiatives
Job Duties
- Manage freight flow by moving scanning and handling freight manually andor with power equipment
- Maintain merchandise supply by replenishing pallets of merchandise ontofrom racks or docks using warehouse systems or through verbal instructions
- Provide basic maintenance to equipment eg clean inspect
- Ensure freight quality by processing stray and damaged cases inspecting pallets shrink wrap and freight for damage cutting shrink wrap as neededand maintaining records logs and forms
- Organize warehouse by using power equipment to remove pallets from pallet returns eg pallet storage trailers upstackingdownstacking emptypallets and upstackingdownstacking freight
- Embrace differences in people cultures ideas and experiences creating a workplace where associates feel seen supported and connected through culture of belonging
- Work as a team building strong and trusting relationships communicating with impact energy and positivity to motivate and influence
